16th SOWThe 16th Special Operations Wing, stationed at Hulbert Field, FL, is the largest and oldest unit assigned to the Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC). The 16th SOW supports and participates in unconventional warfare, counter-insurgency, and psychological operations. The primary mission of the wing is to protect the United States and its interest in low intensity conflicts throughout the world.
