Special Forces Assistant Operations Sergeant

There is one 18F per A team. His primary function is to assist the team sergeant in operating the team. He plans, coordinates, and directs the teams intelligence, collection, analysis, production, and dissemination. He is also responsible for the planning and execution of small unit strike, foreign internal defense, counter-terrorist operations, and strategic reconnaissance operations. The 18f is responsible for interrogating and processing enemy prisoners of war. In addition he briefs and debriefs friendly patrols. The assistant operations sergeant also advises the team commander on intelligence-related matters. He recruits, organizes, advises, trains, and supervises indigenous forces up to a battalion level.
